Upon looking at the sixteen briefs a few more times, I find that the background is so interesting that I can easily forget that the sixteen objects are briefs. Ordinarily paintings don't make me think of music but this one started up "Sixteen Tons." Maybe it that "deeper into" phrase that my subconsious was aiming it.

I read Kevin P. Mosley's statement "I prefer image repetition. The mundane and routine can and ought to be experienced as precious and worthy of attention." I made me think of what Philip Glass does in music.

The circles and squares in the background of the bodybuilder made me think of designs associated with swimming pools.
