Split Pea Soup
I had homemade split-pea soup for lunch today. I’m fond of this dish - it’s easy to make and tasty to eat. But it looks gross, as does this month’s Muni Pass.

If it tastes good, it is good. If it looks good, it is good. Or at least we hope that is true. When I was young we had peas more often than beans but split pea soup was not on my Mother’s list of dishes.
