Power 101
Saturday, May 31st, 2008Over the past few days I have realized how much of my life depends on rechargeable batteries. Since my cozy little bedroom nook has no outlet or light fixture, I rely on a fluorescent utility light that is powered by a rechargeable battery. My computer, of course, my mobile phone (which also serves as my alarm clock), my electric shaver, my SLR camera, and my camcorder. That’s a lot of batteries.
For the last two equipments, I found a great resource online that sells cheap batteries for cameras and camcorders: www.power101.com (not a radio station). Extremely cheap batteries (not name brands of course) and I had reliable service/shipping for two orders that I placed with them.
Consider this post less of a commercial endorsement and more of a convenient reference.
