Prints From Today
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009To get a sense for the class’s comfort with the equipment, Instructor Suzanne Olmsted brought in several test plates for us to from. She wanted us to use imagery with which we had no personal connection, so that no one would be caught up with the development of ideas, rather she could just assess our individual technical experience. These are the prints I made from my selected image. They each measure 2.5″ x 4.75″ printed on some small 5″ x 7.5″ pieces of printmaking paper.
Tomorrow we’ll start transferring our own images onto photo-litho plates. I’m very excited.
